Overview:Join our team at Newport, soon to be reimagined as The Sunny, a stunning beachfront property where we create unforgettable experiences by the Atlantic. As part of the Food and Beverage Administration team, you'll support our mission to deliver exceptional guest experiences, from behind-the-scenes organization to the seamless execution of all F&B operations. In this role, you will be essential to curating the daily flow of food and beverage services, helping to ensure our guests have memorable moments from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities:What You Will Be Doing:
- Provide key administrative support to the Food and Beverage leadership team, handling schedules, reports, and ensuring all operational processes run smoothly in this fast-paced environment.
- Manage inventory, track orders, and support budgeting goals while ensuring supplies are stocked and costs are controlled. You will help to reduce waste and maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist with food and beverage needs for events, ensuring seamless setups, execution, and guest satisfaction. Work closely with the events team to ensure that everything aligns with Newport’s high standards.
- Help maintain compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Assist in training staff and conducting regular safety checks to ensure a safe environment.
- Facilitate clear communication between the kitchen, front-of-house teams, and management, ensuring smooth service and quick resolution of issues.
- Assist in generating reports on sales, inventory, and department performance. Use data to identify areas for improvement and share insights with leadership.
- Support the team in creating an inviting, energetic atmosphere, providing guests with both exceptional service and a memorable experience by the ocean.
Qualifications:
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in administrative roles within food and beverage or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with all departments.
- Proficiency with office software (Google Suite, Microsoft Office), and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience with inventory management and cost-saving measures is an asset.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to support team efforts and maintain a positive work environment.
- A passion for delivering high-quality service and ensuring that each guest has an extraordinary experience.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to uphold standards in all areas of food and beverage.
