Job Title: FOH Supervisor/Lead-Nights
Location: Deadwood, South Dakota
Reports To: FOH Assistant Manager
Indirect Report: Kitchen Manager/Food & Beverage Director
Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary:
The role of a FOH Supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the entire front-of-house team and ensure the client receives a warm welcome and that service runs smoothly.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure customer satisfaction while performing duties.
Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met.
Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service.
Delegate tasks to the team and provide follow-up.
Proactively assist fellow staff members.
Assist servers and staff with stocking for the next shift
Assist servers with serving guests when they need assistance in keeping up
Engage every guest to ensure they “feel” Deadwoods Finest.
Perform deposits at the end of the night.
Close registers, ensuring tills are balanced.
Hiring and training.
Schedule flexibility is a must as this position requires some AM and PM shifts.
Communicate with the assistant manager consistently.
Assisting the assistant manager with vending inventory and ordering.
Discuss, plan, and implement new policies with the Assistant Manager.

Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods walking or standing.
Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 to 100 pounds at a time.
Must be able to workdays, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
Must frequently immerse hands in water.
Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.
Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen.
Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment.
Manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks.

Education and Experience:
High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics such as food safety, preferred.
Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a management role.
