This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into an AGM or GM in the future.
Schedule: Full-time with weekend availability– Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is a requirement
- 3-4 FOH Managing shifts per week
- Serving/Bartending shifts as needed
Pay: $20 per hour and up based on experience
Accountabilities:
- Assist General Manager and Assistant General Manager with leading front-of-house pre-shifts rallies.
- Assist with all accountability standards such as: daily duties, server phase work, bar phase work etc.
- Oversee the performance and job functions of the FOH staff during FOH Managing shifts
Essential Functions:
- Working FOH staff shifts, ensuring the team is winning on FAST & FRIENDLY service!
- Assist with providing the necessary tools/checklists for front-of-house staff to effectively set the stage of the restaurant and ensure readiness & presentability
- Assist with the success and growth of front-of-house staff
- Monitor the productivity, performance & urgency of team members most notably our commitment to FAST & FRIENDLY service
- Be comfortable and ready to work in any FOH role (host, bar, serve, assist expo) when needed
- Monitoring equipment and facility repair/cosmetic needs and reporting any issues to the AGM & GM
- Actively engage our guests by making personal touches and be the face of Tribute. Create raving fans!
- Ensure the satisfaction of our guests, with genuine empathy hear their concerns and use comping privileges as necessary
- Take the 15 Rules of Hospitality to heart. Display them, coach them, encourage & enforce them
Expectations:
- Communicate with AGM and GM, asking for help when necessary.
- Maintains a clean and presentable appearance, values your professional presentation
- Moves with a sense of urgency set the tone for the shift. Brings a positive attitude & energy to work
- Owns their shift. Does not leave with things undone or disheveled
- Have the hard conversations with the AGM or GM, when someone is not performing to our standard course
- Must be willing and able to work past scheduled hours in cases of call-ins and unexpected business spikes
- Know and use the core values to manage and make decisions, and inspire others to do the same
- Run shifts with a main focus on the guest experience. Prioritize and use time wisely balancing floor vs. ongoing duties
- Communicate effectively with team members on all levels be it via face-to-face, 7Shifts, meetings, or Slack
- Join weekly store level meetings
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant restaurant experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass the IOWA Program for Alcohol Compliance Training
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift and carrying trays or other items up to 40lbs
