Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of our high-volume sports bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel at delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily front-of-house (FOH) operations, team management, and ensure the seamless execution of events and busy game nights.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing all FOH operations to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory controls.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, creating a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, hire, train, and develop FOH staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
Create and maintain schedules to meet staffing needs while controlling labor costs.
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members, inspiring excellence in customer service and operational standards.
Customer Experience:
Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly to maintain high satisfaction and repeat patronage.
Lead the team in delivering a superior dining experience, with consistent quality of food, beverages, and service.
Coordinate and manage large events, game nights, and special promotions to enhance the guest experience.
Financial Management:
Collaborate with the General Manager to review financial performance, including budgets, sales, and profit margins.
Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor inventory and oversee purchasing to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced setting; sports bar experience preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of financial and inventory management.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
