Our FOH Manager is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations through the direction of the General Manager, which includes hiring and training staff, coordinating employee schedules, preparing for payroll, ordering supplies, managing budgets, resolving customer complaints, and adhering to all SOP’s and safety protocols.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide direct oversight of day-to-day operations, execute companywide shared standards, and manage dining room.
Build relationships with guests and initiate improvements to guest experiences.
Ensure guest satisfaction by proactively monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage and service offerings.
Resolve guest complaints in a friendly and timely manner.
Function as a role model to ensure company culture through visible actions for all staff.
Complete opening, mid-shift, or closing procedures including all administrative work thoroughly and accurately.
Train and supervise department staff to meet and exceed service standards, grooming
standards, liquor controls, and food/drink knowledge.
Praise staff performance and provide continuous feedback to improve productivity and
performance.
Deliver employee appreciation immediately to reinforce a positive and friendly working
environment.
Attend and actively engage in weekly manager meetings with Executive Team.
Ensure proper staffing, by posting schedules in a timely manner, recruiting, selecting, orienting and training new hires.
Review and comprehend budgets, operating statements and cost savings initiatives as needed
to assist in the financial management of department.
Maintain labor by scheduling according to forecast and adjust as needed throughout the shift.
Use consistent and clear corrective action procedures, manage, counsel and coach employees through workplace conflict and resolve employee complaints, concerns, and/or problems as needed

Bending, lifting, climbing step stools, manual dexterity/coordination, standing for extended periods of time, etc.
Walking, kneeing, standing and reaching.
