About the role
As a CBRE FM Engineering Ops Sr. Manager, you will lead the team responsible for providing technical and operational support to the account staff.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What you’ll do
+ Collaborate with regional leaders to meet service delivery metrics adhering to CBRE, client, and industry standards.
+ Track and report critical metrics, SLA and KPI delivery for regional sites.
+ Develop strategic plans with regional leaders to boost productivity, efficiency, and quality of operations.
+ Implement a continuous improvement program to maintain best in class operations.
+ Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
+ Assist in preparing annual operating budgets, providing technical insights for managing operations and maintenance costs.
+ Oversee and manage technical aspects for regional assets including condition assessments, life cycle management, capex replacement program, and reliability engineering.
+ Foster collaborative environment, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
+ Lead problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making processes.
+ Serve as the primary contact for engineering-related inquiries within the region.
+ Support regional alliance director and site leaders to achieve financial objectives.
+ Align with CBRE global and other regional teams for consistency and standardization.
+ Collaborate with clients and third-party representatives for regional objective delivery.
+ Lead regional efforts on CMMS and asset management optimization.
+ Resolve operations and maintenance issues at site and regional levels.
+ Incorporate CBRE and customer engineering, maintenance standards into the facility maintenance program.
+ Analyze engineering-related performance metrics (KPIs).
+ Drive continuous improvement and innovation, supporting peer reviews, site assessments, and technical competence evaluations.
+ Collaborate with clients on reconfiguration, changes, and operational requirements.
+ Exhibit CBRE RISE values, influencing parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
What you’ll need
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job subject area, multiple job fields, and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive approach.
