We are seeking a results-oriented Flooring Sales Professional and Estimator to spearhead client acquisition and sales growth while also supporting project estimating and management after securing contracts.
Position Overview
This role is primarily focused on sales, with responsibilities in estimating and project management as needed once sales are secured. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator who can confidently drive new business, foster client relationships, and oversee the initial stages of project planning. This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within a dynamic and supportive team.
- Sales and Client Acquisition (Primary Focus):
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the commercial and residential flooring markets.
- Generate leads through cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing networks.
- Present tailored flooring solutions, guiding clients through material selection with a strong understanding of design aesthetics and functionality.
- Conduct on-site visits to evaluate client needs, explain product offerings, and build trust.
- Attend trade shows and networking events to promote Division 9 LLC and broaden professional connections.
- Estimating (Secondary):
- Perform blueprint takeoffs and utilize estimating software such as PlanHub to prepare accurate bids.
- Provide clients with detailed proposals, including cost estimates for materials, labor, and timelines.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure estimates align with project specifications and profitability goals.
- Project Management and Quality Assurance (As Needed):
- Transition secured contracts into actionable projects by coordinating material procurement and job scheduling.
- Serve as the client's point of contact to ensure communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct quality assurance checks during and after installation to guarantee high standards.
- Oversee collections and post-project follow-ups to maintain client satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in commercial and residential flooring sales.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with flooring materials, design, and installation processes.
- Technical Skills: Ability to perform takeoffs from blueprints and utilize CRM and estimating tools like PlanHub.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to build trust and foster long-term relationships.
- Design Acumen: Strong eye for aesthetics to assist clients in selecting materials that meet their needs.
- Licenses: Valid driver's license for site visits.
- Background Checks: Must pass fingerprint, child abuse, and state police criminal background checks for projects in schools.
