About the Job
As the Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. You will utilize your flooring knowledge to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our client's products to customers.
Job Type: Full-Time, On-site
Responsibilities for the Flooring Outside Sales Rep:
- Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential
- Assist walk-in customers with product information, promotions, brand selections and up-sell when possible.
- Set up and maintain showroom to create an effective and efficient environment to promote sales.
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in industry networks, and growing lasting client relationships
- Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes and forecasting.
- Positively contribute to full sales and customer service teams
- Develop and collaborate on long- and short-term sales strategies
Requirements of the Flooring Outside Sales Rep:
- Minimum 2-3+ years of Sales experience in Building Materials
- Knowledge of hard and soft surface flooring
- Bi-lingual in English & Spanish
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with customers
- Highly motivated and results-oriented
