We're seeking a dynamic, seasoned professional to join our team as a Permanent Flooring General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, specifically in the flooring sector, and have a proven track record in managing strategic relationships with carpet, vinyl, wood, and other flooring material mills, manufacturers, and suppliers.
As a leader, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining labor resources and strategies, procuring contracts, project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and identifying resources needed for our Floorcovering division installation and closeouts. You will also be responsible for meeting sales revenue and margin goals and initiatives for the division.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with carpet, vinyl, wood, and other flooring material mills, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Manage and maintain labor resources and strategies for the Floorcovering division.
- Responsible for bidding and procuring contracts.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, material procurement, and budgeting.
- Identify resources needed for Floorcovering division installation and closeouts.
- Engage subcontractor labor effectively and efficiently.
- Oversee sales revenue and margin goals and initiatives for the division.
- Provide project management oversight to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and profitability within the division.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role in the manufacturing industry, specifically in the flooring sector.
- Proven track record in managing strategic relationships with flooring material mills, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Extensive experience in managing and maintaining labor resources and strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in bidding and procuring contracts.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, material procurement, and budgeting.
- Experience in engaging subcontractor labor.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales revenue and margin goals.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Knowledge of industry safety and quality standards.
