Avante at Ocala is seeking a FT Floor Tech/Maintenance to join our team! Must have experience in Long Term Care facility maintenance.

Assist in maintaining the facility in good repair; clean windows, screens and high areas; perform duties as directed or required, in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire, safety, infection control, isolation and sanitation procedures; promptly report accidents, incidents, unsafe and hazardous conditions and that all tools and supplies are properly stored to ensure compliance with established regulations and procedures at all times.
Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions and specific tasks as assigned; floors, carpets, walls, ceilings, that work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner, clearly marked with caution or safety signs as required; ensure work areas are free of all hazardous objects and that all equipment, tools and supplies are properly stored at all times; ensure all established Universal Precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures are maintained and followed when performing housekeeping duties; and, promptly report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the Housekeeping/Laundry Services Supervisor and/or the Administrator.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
