Floor Tech Assistant Operations Manager - Southeast Airport Services, Inc.

• Location: MCO Orlando International Airport
• Full-Time Position
• Required: Extensive experience in Floor Care Management. 

• The primary responsibility of the assistant manager is to ensure the safety of the public, employees, facilities, and equipment while managing the operation.
• Ensure that the team has complete attendance and must report immediately any tardiness or absences.
• Daily timekeeping verifications and approval at the end of the pay period.
• Paid-Time-Off schedule and approval.
• Preparing employee's work schedules.
• Daily submission of reports before the end of the day must be completed and submitted.
• Provide excellent customer service experience to both the public and especially the client.
• Communicating effectively (fluent in English and Spanish is an advantage) with the employees and the upper management.
• Responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Reporting equipment maintenance issues.
• Conduct inventory of supplies.
• Able to do ad hoc tasks.

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred.
• Experience in Floor maintenance experience with Buffers, Scrubbers, Waxers, Strippers, Canister vacuum cleaners, and Shop vacuums.
• Good knowledge of Industrial safety.
• Completion of drug test and background clearance.
• Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Preferred candidates are motivated, meticulous, and able to work with numerous interruptions.

• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching all day.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working with and exposed to floor care equipment, mechanical parts, and vibration.
• The environment can also be loud.
