Purple Lotus Patient Center in San Jose is currently looking for passionate and experienced Floor Manager, to help with managing retail operations.
The Floor manager plays a key role in supporting the overall goals of the company by supervising team members and daily tasks of the retail sales floor. The Floor manager is focused on ensuring the team provides a high level of customers service while following company procedures and adhering to all compliance measures. The Floor Manager provides feedback and works with the General manager to create an environment that is fun and underlines our Core Values.
Job Duties:
Assist with hiring, developing, and managing retail floor team members Manage daily tasks related to the retail floor, including all opening and closing procedures Handle minor software and hardware issues related to the point of Sale System. Liaison with IT team and software provider to handle more complex issues Maintain thorough understanding of all state and local compliance laws related to the retail floor Maintain thorough knowledge of all products in stock Develop employee schedules for retail floor. Manage customer flow by observing and understanding sales trends. Handle high level discrepancies with customers maintaining excellent customer service through the lotus way experience. Assist with coaching and providing disciplinary action to retail floor team members. Investigate all variances and discrepancies related to end of shift closeouts prior to closing out the shifts. Communicate all material variances and discrepancies to appropriate leadership team members, including all compliance related issues. Participate in daily huddles. Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned by the General Manager.
Requirements:
The Floor manager will focus on ensuring that all daily tasks related to retail floor are carried out, and that the processes and procedures within the retail floor department are followed and closely monitored. They will help ensure that the retail floor department is closely aligned and working in sync with the overall goals of the organization. They will provide critical feedback to the leadership team on employee performance, satisfaction, and customer service standards. As a member of the management team, they play a key role as a coach within the organization, focusing heavily on development and retainment of 'A' players.

Education & Experience:
- 2-3 years Floor manager or similar experience preferred, preferably in a retail environment
- Prior experience in cannabis industry (preferred but not required)
