Job Summary
United Legwear is looking for a dedicated Floor Manager to support and supervise the general operations of the store team at Ted Baker's Bloomingdale’s concession shop. This Floor Manager’s tasks include assisting customers, ensuring prompt resolution of clients' inquiries, distributing tasks to the team, and monitoring team members performance. The ideal candidate will be motivated to assist in overviewing KPI’s, adjusting to overall sales trends and will have excellent leadership skills. The Floor Manager will also act as a support to the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager of the relevant location.

- Use all available tools and information to keep up to date on current product and be proficient in product details such as Called, Color, Composition, Cost, Care, Cut (The 6 C’s.)
- Display up to date product knowledge such as, key trends and location bestsellers in order to educate team members on how to maximize sales and increase customer loyalty to the brand.
- Support merchandising guidelines, replenishment procedures and housekeeping standards to ensure that Ted is represented at the highest level.
- Retain a comprehensive understanding of stock routines, product types, stock holding and stock management. Regularly liaise with Managers to ensure the floors are driven commercially at all times.
- Maximize sales potential by ensuring the team are expertly delivering all requirements of Ted’s trainings.
- Be responsible for ensuring team are demonstrating GOTFAT with enthusiasm and consistency.
- Display an excellent understanding of local and customer profiles and shopping behaviors to deliver an effective sales environment in partnership with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
- Consistently display an in-depth knowledge and interpretation of location performance to support the achievement of plans and KPI’s.
- Ability to successfully drive the team to achieve the location’s performance plans.
- Drive awareness of brand promotions, marketing activity and campaigns to the team and customers.
- Responsible for driving the team to actively achieve the location's B-Connected performance, promoting the use of database building and clienteling.
- Build and maintain a strong commercial awareness of our competitors and local markets communicating findings to the management team.
- Assist with managing the controllable elements of the store's profit and loss budgets.
- Analyze relevant tools to convey a high level of commercial understanding, identifying opportunities to positively impact location performance.
- In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager be confident in delivering all daily Operations.
- Be proactive at completing and delegating tasks correctly and on time following Company policy and procedures. Be effective in communicating with the management team, providing feedback on completed tasks and highlighting any issues.
- Adhere to and support all Company health and safety procedures. Uses equipment properly and reports any potentially unsafe conditions.
- Adhere to and follow up on all loss prevention measures and protect the assets of the Company by reporting any misuse or theft of Company property to a member of management.
- Responsible for accurate cash handling and banking procedures highlighting and resolving discrepancies as a matter of priority as outlined by your host store.
- Support the management team in ensuring all other communications and directives are executed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience as a Floor Supervisor/Keyholder or in a similar retail management role, preferably in fashion.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable strategies.
- Knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
- Passion for fashion and the Ted Baker brand.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

The physical demands and working conditions outlined below are representative of those required for this role to effectively perform the essential job functions. In this role employees are regularly expected to walk and stand for extended periods, frequently use their hands for tasks involving handling, feeling, pushing, and reaching for company products, type and manipulate electronic systems, and engage in regular communication with customers, staff, and third parties, including speaking and listening activity. This role can also include stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as necessary. The ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 40 pounds is required. Vision abilities for close and distance viewing related to electronic systems and/or physical products are also required. Working conditions may involve dynamic changes in pace and activity level, necessitating flexibility and promptness to perform tasks in various physical positions.
