Job Summary:
Bond Cocktail Lounge is seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily front-of-house (FOH) operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The Floor Manager will lead and support the FOH team, maintain high service standards, and help create a vibrant atmosphere that reflects Bond's exclusive and innovative cocktail offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor FOH staff, including servers, bartenders, and hostesses.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily goals, specials, and service expectations.
- Guest Experience:
- Ensure all guests receive attentive, personalized service.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a welcoming and upscale atmosphere in alignment with Bond Cocktail Lounge's brand.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow and efficiency.
- Manage floor plans, seating arrangements, and reservations to optimize guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of the lounge, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Sales & Performance:
- Support sales initiatives by promoting menu offerings and upselling premium options.
- Track and report key performance metrics, such as guest feedback and staff performance.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between FOH staff and management.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Participate in regular management meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role in a high-end restaurant, lounge, or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail culture, food and beverage service, and FOH operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with OPENTABLE reservation and TOAST POS systems.
- Certification in hospitality management or a related field.
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
