Fleet Technician at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading beverage manufacturer in the Garner area recruit for a Fleet Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity on 2nd shift (1pm-10pm). Candidate will receive a shift differential in addition to their hourly pay rate.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and forklifts, including brake repair and automotive diagnostics.
• Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
• Suspend and transmit diagnostic information to identify issues effectively.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in technology related to fleet maintenance.

Experience

• 5+ years experience as a vehicle maintenance technician or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery repair industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing farm machinery, forklifts, and other vehicles.
• Must have basic welding experience
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
