Position objective:
The Fleet Service Coordinator will be responsible for providing comprehensive assistance to customers with service and mechanical requests, negotiating repair times and parts pricing to ensure cost-effective solutions while minimizing vehicle downtime. The role involves coordinating efficient repair processes, reviewing service estimates, and handling repair approvals with third-party vendors. Additionally, this position ensures timely payment of invoices and the daily tracking and updating of maintenance vehicles to support smooth operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively communicate essential shipping information to carriers, customers, and internal/external teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Oversee and coordinate customer delivery schedules, including specific dates and times.
- Gather all necessary details to facilitate logistic arrangements with third-party vendors.
- Respond to phone calls in a courteous and professional manner, providing helpful assistance to customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise, offering solutions in a positive and supportive manner.
- Provide accurate and detailed documentation for customer accounts through clear and effective verbal and written communication.
- Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the team.
Skills and Experience
