Qualifications:Minimum Requirements
HS Diploma or five years of shuttle maintenance experience and must be at least 25 years of age.
- Reading: Average Level: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, federal, state and local transportation regulations as well as reports and procedures.
- Communication: Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently (DOT Requirement)
- Math: Average Level: Ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply.
- Writing: Average Level: Ability to write statements/reports.
- Technical Skill: Knowledge of all working functions of a shuttle bus, ADA lifts, wheelchair securement, GPS, video/audio camera and other systems on shuttles
- ASE certification a plus
- CNG knowledge a plus
- Physical: Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations.
- Licenses & Endorsements: Must possess the appropriate license, endorsements and or medical certification to operate a shuttle bus. Have a strong driving record. Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Must be able to work in a team environment.

Physical Demands
Drivers work in a physically demanding environment. Lifting heavy equipment, prolonged sitting and frequent standing are a normal part of the job. All drivers must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Continuously requires vision, hearing and talking. Frequently requires standing, sitting, handling and foot controls. Occasionally requires fine dexterity, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing/pulling, bending and twisting.
Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: motor vehicle cold and heat operation, two-way radios, smart phone, computer
Environmental Factors: Exposure to noise and vibration and physical hazards. Seasonal exposure to extreme temperature and wetness and/or humidity, cold and heat
Non-Physical Demands
Occasionally requires emergency situations, irregular schedule/overtime, tedious or exacting work, and noisy/distracting environment.

Compensation: Compensation is negotiable based on experience and job qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Report to work on time and in uniform.
- Perform regular scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on all shuttles
- Repair shuttles as needed
- Working knowledge of shuttle buses, wheelchair lifts, snow plow equipment etc.
- Able to determine problems and knowledge to solve problems regarding shuttle breakdowns.
- Order parts and supplies for shuttles based on best price/quality practice.
- Work with Vendors on repairs made outside of shop
- Set up a PM schedule for all WP equipment
- Log all maintenance on all WP equipment compliant with local/state/federal regulations and WP requirements
- Dispose of old parts/materials in shop compliant with local/state/federal regulations
- Maintain a clean working environment compliant with local/state/federal regulations
- Conduct shuttle pre-trip inspection, properly complete the pre-trip inspection form, report deficiencies, log passenger counts and accurately complete all reports/form.
- Greet each customer with a smile, provide pleasant customer service, offer assistance with luggage and be available to customers for customer service-related questions and issues.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals.
- Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service.
- Utilize etiquette and professionalism during interactions with customers and in the work- place.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers/supervisors to ensure effective fleet operations.
- Maintain clean, orderly safe work area
- Report any operational issues with customers, airport conditions, road & traffic problems.
- Ability and willingness to perform the following job functions– bus washing and facility cleanliness.
- Provide customer satisfaction.
- Comply with company regulations, policies and standard operating procedures/company’s handbook.
- Comply with local/state/Federal safety regulations regarding shop area
- Maintain communication with the supervisor on duty.
- Report all incidents/accidents to the supervisor on duty.
