Progressive Transportation is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their Logistics Team as a Fleet Coordinator! The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for serving as the point of contact for drivers, vendors, and customers during relocation of a shipment. This role ensures drivers have all pertinent information and follows up to ensure specifics are met. The incumbent must be able to work independently in reviewing the fleet to identify hauling solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assign shipments and loads to drivers, ensuring they have all necessary information for successful deliveries.
- Accurately manage shipment updates, including participant notification and data entry.
- Monitor Electronic Logging Device (ELD) data daily to ensure drivers adhere to planned hours, optimizing mileage, revenue, and on-time performance.
- Arrange for truck service and replacement in case of breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions. Update the Driver Performance Record Program to document and address all service issues.
- Schedule driver “home time” to balance fleet productivity and revenue generation without compromising operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with drivers to ensure they are available to cover a minimum of 9,500 miles per month.
- Verify the submission and accuracy of all driver paperwork.
- Schedule and oversee driver inspections to maintain compliance and safety standards.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and comprehensive reports to management as required.
- Coordinate random drug tests for drivers in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Oversee the T-check process, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need:
- High School diploma and/or GED is required.
- 0-4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet coordination, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication to interact with drivers, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to resolve issues such as equipment breakdowns or scheduling conflicts independently.
