100% FTE, 40 hours per week, Day shift. Includes weekend on-call rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Fitness Supervisor to:
- Oversee exercise programs, staff, and daily operations of the land-based movement programs and personal coaching.
- Teach a variety of fitness and movement classes and clinical programming classes.
- Hire, prepare performance evaluations, and train staff, primarily exercise instructors and personal trainers.
- Use Health Coaching background and skills for program development.
- Utilize our registration software system – entering data for fitness programs, problem solving, creating reports, and generating marketing emails.

Education:
Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field.
Preferred – Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum – Experience leading group fitness classes. Experience with at risk populations (hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, bariatrics, orthopedic, and/or neurological issues).
Preferred – Leadership experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – Current CPR/AED.
Preferred – Other teaching or coaching certifications (group exercise instructor, yoga, pilates, etc.).
