Fitness Professional (Stretch Therapist) - StretchLab - Spartanburg

StretchLab Spartanburg is seeking experienced fitness professionals that have worked in the industry and know the body and how it moves.  Professionals who are passionate about helping others feel better and live life more fully.  And who know how to make and execute improvement programs.

StretchLab requires a nationally accredited license, certification, or degree in a health or fitness related field before entering our training program where we teach you how to stretch.  We pay for the training, so we are interested in investing in individuals who want to grow with us.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions
• Complete detailed notes after each session
• Assist sales team in sales process
• Responsible for member retention activities
• Be available & participate in pop-up events (as required)
• Encourage, motivate, and educate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Ensure safety of clients regarding proper stretch techniques
• Attend team meetings and required educational presentations
• Stay up to date on latest stretching techniques and procedures
• Participate in and maintain strong social media presence

Qualifications:

• Current, nationally accredited, fitness/health/wellness certification, licensure, or degree is required (non-negotiable)
• Love connecting with people and helping them achieve their health goals
• Prior experience in a fitness/health environment providing hand on training with clients
• Understanding of programming, goal setting, and ongoing discussion of results
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
• Excellent communication skills and innate ability to exude empathy
• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to the attendance policy

• Certification/license/degree can be any of the following:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Licensed Massage Therapist
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants
  • Licensed Occupational Therapists
  • LPN / RN (sorry, but not CNA)
  • Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • Certified Pilates, Yoga, or Dance Instructor
  • Degreed in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human Biomechanics
  • Other wellness/fitness certifications or degrees considered individually
