Responsibilities: The Fiscal Intermediary Liaison (FIL) assists the person supported in utilizing and managing their Self Direction Budget. The FIL will assist the person supported, broker, Care Manager and the business office with the management of FI core tasks and functions, including but not limited to; reviewing and approving invoices and reimbursement, co-managing self hired staff, tracking expenditures, reviewing budget utilization, responding appropriately to health and safety concerns, and ensuring compliance for all services, payments, and supports.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or business and one year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Must have a valid New York State Driver's License, a reliable vehicle and meet Lifetime Assistance vehicle operator requirements. Must meet all OPWDD requirements and complete all necessary training during first six months in Position.
Location: Rochester, NY
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm. Some flexibility required when a later meeting is requested.
