LOCATION:  Administration

NATURE OF WORK:This full-time contractual position will provide a combination of fiscal and clerical duties to support the Allegany County Health Department's finance unit. This position includes maintaining the material and supply inventory for 24/7 units, processing invoices in FMIS, backup for Credit Purchasing Card (CPC) purchases, receiving and delivering mail and packages, and logging/verifying collections to ensure that they are ready for deposit. This position must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation or equivalency AND ONE year of experience reviewing, verifying, recording, adjusting, and balancing financial transactions.

NOTE:  6 credit hours in accounting from a college/university will substitute for one year of the experience requirement. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The preferred candidate should possess the following experience:

• Experience entering collections into a software system.
• Experience reconciling daily transactions.

SALARY:  $16.75/hour; subsidized medical, prescription, dental insurance available, paid earned leave.

HOURS:  Full-time day shift; no weekend work.
