We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Manager to join our team of professionals in ensuring fire safety compliance and the installation of top-tier fire safety systems.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and eager PM to join our team. This role does not require any prior experience in project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in being a quick learner, developing client relationships, being technically sound and savvy and eager to learn first and foremost. Knowledgeable in bidding new construction projects, service, and sprinkler systems is a bonus and can lead to additional compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct site visits and manage projects as needed to determine client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Prepare and present proposals to clients
- Scheduling material deliveries and foreman visits
- Attending job coordination meetings and handling change orders, while going on regular job site visits
- Submitting and following up with permits, scheduling designs with designers, reviewing install plans and stock lists before jobs begin
- Utilize PM software to track projects and stay on budget
Ideal Candidates:
- Some general understanding of Construction and/or Fire Sprinkler project management
- Ability to read blueprints
- Eager and able to learn fire sprinkler systems and services
- Proven track record of success in prior positions or endeavors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other PM tools
- Willing to work in an office environment from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM when not doing site visits
