We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our team. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our construction projects. As a Fire Sprinkler Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating the cost of fire sprinkler systems for various types of construction projects. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Fire Sprinkler Estimator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Reviewing construction plans and preparing detailed estimates for fire sprinkler systems.
2. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to determine the best fire safety solutions for each project.
3. Preparing and submitting accurate and competitive bids for fire sprinkler systems.
4. Meeting with clients to discuss their fire safety needs and provide them with detailed estimates.
5. Keeping up-to-date with the latest fire safety regulations and technologies.
6. Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
7. Re-evaluating estimates and costs as project details change.
8. Assisting in the negotiation of contracts and the selection of subcontractors.
9. Providing technical support to the project team during the construction phase.
10. Participating in project meetings and providing updates on the status of the fire sprinkler system installation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Fire Sprinkler Estimator position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Estimator in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in preparing detailed estimates for fire sprinkler systems.
3. Excellent knowledge of fire safety regulations and technologies.
4. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
5. Proficient in using estimating software and other computer applications.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work well with a team and collaborate with various professionals.
8. Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
9. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Certification as a Fire Protection Specialist or similar is a plus.
