A well-established, growing engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated Fire Protection Design Engineer with expertise in fire hazards analysis, and fire protection system design. You will work across the organization between engineering design, construction forces, operations, and EH&S to support the fire protection system design. This team works hard to ensure projects are planned, designed, and managed to meet not only our high expectations but to exceed our clients' goals as well. They have a work hard/play hard mentality & we invest in all of our employees.

What you will be doing:
- Perform a variety of fire protection duties associated with the planning, analysis, design, and construction of various fire protection sprinkler systems primarily for new construction and facility renovation projects.
- Generating fire protection life safety code analyses.
- Performing sprinkler system shop drawing plan reviews.
What you will need:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering with fire protection engineering concentration preferred
- 5+ years of work experience in industrial facility design, construction, commissioning, and/or operations
- 5+ years of experience working as a fire protection engineer
- Knowledge of new and existing non-reactor facility structural engineering systems and calculations, applications of engineering methods, and application of computer-aided engineering tools to solve operations-based engineering problem
- P.E. is preferred but would consider a strong E.I.T who can obtain their P.E. within 12 months
