Fire Protection Engineer - Independent

Fire Protection Engineer opportunities in the Los Angeles and Newport Beach area. Must have EIT and PE certifications and AutoCAD or Revit. This position offers a hybrid/remote work arrangement, providing you with flexibility and work-life balance. (No sponsorships)

Job Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from accredited college or university in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Sciences, or related engineering field
• Minimum 3 years and up to 7 years of experience in the fire protection engineering/consulting profession. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• PE, NICET level III / IV, or EIT
• Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, and AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with CONTAM, fire dynamic simulation, Pathfinder, and/or other fire protection engineering modeling software
