Fire Extinguisher Technician:
Kartman Fire Protection Services Inc. are looking for a Fire Extinguisher Technician to join their team in Havertown, Pennsylvania.
Job Duties:
- Inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of fire extinguishers.
- This technician will follow all local, state, and national regulations and codes pertaining to fire protection and life safety.
- Maintain a complete and current working understanding of all relevant facilities infrastructure, equipment and systems.
- Inspection of fire extinguishers
- Work with operational and maintenance personnel to coordinate life safety system impairments as required for repairs, maintenance and new installations.
Skills and Requirements:
- Preferred: Advanced Technical School Training.
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred Certification: NFPA 10, NAFED.
- Required: Mechanical aptitude.
- Preferred: 1-year related experience, experience filling fire extinguishers.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- ]Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Compensations & Benefits:
- Salary commensurate with experience. ($17.00 - $20.00 per hour)
