**Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician**
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience and a NICET II certification. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills and a solid background in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $25 to $35, based on experience, along with a personalized benefits package.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Installation and Maintenance:**
- Install, program, and test fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly and comply with relevant codes and standards.
**Troubleshooting and Repair:**
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Conduct tests and inspections to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
**Compliance and Documentation:**
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet industry standards, local codes, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
**Customer Service:**
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Educate clients on system operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
**Collaboration:**
- Work closely with other technicians, electricians, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of fire alarm systems with other building systems.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest industry developments and best practices.
**Safety and Quality Assurance:**
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Implement quality control measures to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
- **Certification:**
- NICET II certification in Fire Alarm Systems is required. (Will consider NICET I with a very strong background and tenure)
- **Skills:**
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

**Compensation:**
