The Fire Technician will work both independently and on a team to install and service a range of life safety systems. The candidate will have extensive knowledge on life safety systems and parts and be willing to stay up to date on evolving technologies. The technician must be well versed in life safety, have strong communication skills and operate in a professional and organized manner. The successful candidate must be hard working, reliable and have a clean driving record.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Complete complex system installs, setup, testing and inspecting
- Troubleshoot simple and complex life safety systems
- Knowledgeable in life safety system layout, installation requirements, testing and servicing
- Able to support legacy and/or third-party products and systems
- Advanced understanding of design and technical requirements for life safety systems
- Ensure high client satisfaction during the installation and service processes
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of related field experience
- Solid experience with life safety systems
- NICET Certification preferred or be willing to receive the certification within 1 year
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized and able to multitask
- Thrives on analyzing and solving problems
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments
- Experience working onsite at customer’s home or business
- Knowledge of residential and commercial construction preferred
- Ability to work a rotating “on-call” service schedule
- Clean driving record and background check
