We are seeking a Permanent Finish Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This essential role will be responsible for overseeing the final stages of construction projects, including concrete finishing, tile finishing, and other finishing tasks. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for perfection, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all finish construction phases, ensuring that specifications and deadlines are met.
2. Coordinate and supervise the work of sub-contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.
3. Carry out detailed inspections of work, identifying any issues and implementing corrective measures.
4. Manage and maintain construction schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes and delays.
5. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
6. Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and any issues.
7. Resolve any problems that arise, finding practical and efficient solutions.
8. Conduct final walk-throughs with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, such as Finish Superintendent, Concrete Finishing, or Tile Finishing.
2. Proven experience overseeing finish construction phases, with a strong knowledge of concrete and tile finishing.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality and perfection.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
8. Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant technology.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
