THE BASICS

Pay: $72,000 per year

YOUR DAY AS A FINE DINING - CLUBHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER

As the Fine Dining - Clubhouse Assistant Manager at Austin Country Club, you ensure a seamless and exceptional fine dining experience for all members and their guests. You lead and support the front-of-house staff, providing ongoing training and guidance to maintain the highest service standards. You oversee the setup of the dining room, ensuring every detail contributes to an impeccable and inviting atmosphere. Your keen eye for detail extends to inspecting equipment, fixtures, and furniture, ensuring that the dining areas are always clean and safe. Throughout the day, you engage in recruiting, hiring, and training food service and bar staff, conducting pre-shift meetings to confirm that the team is professionally presented and ready to deliver outstanding service. Collaborating closely with the leadership team, you monitor costs, oversee inventory, and maintain operational excellence, knowing that your strong leadership and fine dining skills are key to the restaurant's success.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A FINE DINING - CLUBHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER

• Fine dining experience
• Proven leadership experience in a top-tier or upscale restaurant, hotel, or private club
• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
• Ability to hold staff members accountable and set them up for success
• Ability to manage and work tables
• Ability to be articulate, tactful, courteous, and diplomatic with members, guests, and fellow employees
• Ability to stand and walk for several hours as well as balance a loaded tray and carry heavy items up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
