Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our regulatory compliance team within the finance industry. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for ensuring our organization complies with all relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines. This role involves interpreting complex regulatory information, implementing compliance strategies, and supporting regulatory audits and examinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on regulatory developments, guidelines, and requirements affecting the finance industry, including securities regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and consumer protection regulations.
- Interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the organization's policies, procedures, and operations.
- Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Conduct regulatory risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and operational teams, to address regulatory issues and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and disclosures accurately and in a timely manner as required by regulatory authorities.
- Assist in coordinating regulatory audits and examinations, including preparing documentation and facilitating interactions with auditors and regulators.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on regulatory compliance matters, including conducting compliance training programs and workshops.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices to recommend and implement necessary updates to compliance programs.
Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the finance industry, such as SEC regulations, FINRA rules, and AML/KYC requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and auditors.
- Proficiency in conducting regulatory research, analysis, and documentation using relevant tools and resources.

Education and Experience:
