Job Description:
Join our team in the Financial Services Tax practice to assist our clients in meeting their tax obligations while effectively managing the impact of taxes on their business operations. As a Senior Associate, you'll play a vital role in advising clients on local and overseas tax matters, serving as a strategic consultant for business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing. Your expertise will contribute to helping organizations comprehend the pricing implications of transactions between related parties and offering insights on the tax implications of various deals.
Our team specializes in guiding Financial Services clients through the intricate national and international tax landscape, addressing challenges such as stringent capital requirements, managing operational tax risks, and navigating tax implications across different jurisdictions. You'll be instrumental in assisting clients with tax structuring while keeping abreast of the dynamic tax environment, both locally and globally.

Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification or commitment to pass the CPA exam before promotion to Manager, followed by obtaining CPA licensure, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge and/or proven success in tax compliance and consulting services for the real estate industry.
- Experience with tax services for real estate owners, developers, and publicly traded REITs.
- Proficiency in tax research methods, including Westlaw, RIA, and CCH.
- Ability to provide meaningful insights and recommendations based on industry trends.
- Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Exposure to pricing, client value, and negotiation processes.
