We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Financial Reporting Manager to join our finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing company, where you will play a vital role in managing all aspects of financial reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Reporting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for internal and external use, while ensuring that the reports, filings, and documentation comply with the company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
2. Managing the company's financial reporting processes and ensuring the accurate and timely submission of all SEC filings, including the 10-Qs and 10-Ks.
3. Coordinating, preparing, and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including consolidated financial statements and footnotes.
4. Working closely with external auditors during financial and operational audits.
5. Implementing and maintaining reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
6. Performing continuous assessment of the close process and process reengineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period.
7. In-depth knowledge and hands-on application of ASC 946 and ASC 820.
8. Collaborating with the company's finance and accounting teams to forecast, analyze, and report on financial performance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Financial Reporting Manager position will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the financial services industry.
4. Strong experience with GAAP, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
5. Proven experience with ASC 946 and ASC 820.
6. Strong experience with external audit and dealing with external auditors.
7. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
