About the Job

System One is assisting a company in Northwest Arkansas with a search for a Financial Reporting Manager. This position works with others who excel in their areas of expertise. Position may be hybrid or remote with direct flights to Northwest Arkansas National Airport.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and filing of the SEC quarterly and annual reports (Form 10-Qs and 10-Ks) as well as assisting with all other reporting requirements (Form 8-Ks, etc.). May also prepare and file the SEC filings for 401(k) plans (Form 11-Ks) and Form 5500 review
Assist in drafting all earnings release materials (conference call script, press releases and investor presentations)
Research accounting and reporting matters and determine impact on the company. Ensure compliance with GAAP
Respond to requests and questions from external auditors related to specific assigned areas
Help pull information together required for the preparation of the various tax returns. Provide oversight and support with the tax provision calculation and related journal entries ensuring compliance with ASC 740 - Income Tax
Involved with equity compensation calculations and related accounting entries
Review and monitor internal controls ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in Audit/Assurance within a public accounting firm
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's degree preferred
Must be a CPA or CPA eligible
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements as well as knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley controls required
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Curious attitude continuously looking for ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of work processes
Proficient in Excel with a high aptitude for computer systems
High energy with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Salary: $90K - $115K
