Job Summary and Qualifications

The Financial Reporting Analyst assists Executive, Financial, and Departmental management in the preparation and completion of financial data collection, financial reports/tools, various surveys and special projects; including but not limited to Inventory, Audits, Budget, Capital Management, ROI’s, P&L’s, and Projection. Your background in finance, attention to detail and commitment to professionalism is critical to ensuring the integrity of our financial process so we can in turn provide the best experience in healthcare for our patients. What You Will Do In This Role

You will be responsible for advanced data collection, data mining and data assimilation; interpreting and analyzing large amounts of data and in examining documents and data for correctness and accuracy.

You will analyze journal entries.

You will prepare weekly financial projections and update files after month close to track trends.

You will assist with annual financial and statistical budget preparation.

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other business-related discipline

Minimum 0-2 years experience of relevant experience

Intermediate knowledge and use of advanced functions within Microsoft Excel applications to include but not be limited to macros, pivot tables, importing data from external sources and advanced formulas.

Intermediate skill level in data collection, data mining, data assimilation; interpreting and analyzing large amounts of data; skill in examining documents and data for correctness and accuracy
Demonstrates self-learning and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn and develop

Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building

trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations

Able to perform work, special requests and tasks under minimal supervision

Able to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing

Healthcare experience preferred

CPA license preferred

Compensation is based on years of experience and will be between the following range: $51,147.20- $75,752

Medical City Fort Worth is a 350+ bed full-service Magnet Designated hospital. It is located in the heart of the medical district. Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services.
