Financial Reporting Accountant - Expeditors

We operate in more than 60 countries and employ over 18,000 employees worldwide. + Global support of financial reporting software (Oracle HFM) + Review monthly profit and loss for foreign offices. + Review quarterly financial statements of foreign subsidiaries. + Prepare and review quarterly analyticals, which are submitted to and reviewed by the Chief Financial Officer. + Assist with facilitation of intercompany transactions and ensuring proper elimination. + Work with controllers and accounting managers overseas on accounting policies and issues. + Special projects as assigned. + BA/BS in Accounting. + Strong knowledge of US GAAP. + Experience working with the Microsoft suite of tools including, Word, Excel, OneNote and Outlook. + Experience with Excel tools such as V-lookup, Pivot Tables, Index, etc. + Effective written and verbal communication skills. + Team oriented attitude with a positive outlook. + Organizational, analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail. + Aptitude for learning new software applications Expected base salary: $78,000 - $85,000 Expeditors offers excellent benefits: + Paid Vacation, Holiday, Sick Time + Health Plan: Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental and Vision + Life and Long Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan + Employee Stock Purchase Plan + Training and Personnel Development Program Location On-site at our Bellevue, Federal Way, or Seattle locations. + 1200 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98101 + 33940 Weyerhaeuser Way S, Federal Way, WA 98001 + 3545 Factoria Blvd SE, Bellevue, WA 98006
