Financial Regulatory Reporting Analyst – Investment Management – Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for a Financial Regulatory Reporting Analyst position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will support the Manager of the Investment Analytic Support Group and will be responsible for data associated with the firm’s trade and reporting to European and Australian Securities and Exchange regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of regulatory reporting and securities trade flows within investment management.
This is a 6-month contract that will pay $25-30/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3 days/wk in the Boston office.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely submission of daily securities trade and position files to various international regulatory authorities
- Assist with other groups across the firm to implement regulatory reporting enhancements to ensure that the firm continues to meet its reporting requirements
- Support brokers and reporting application vendors to ensure trade matching and proper transaction reporting principles
- Identify and implement improvements to existing processes
- Work with various groups within the Global Investment Support Group to troubleshoot any potential problems as they may arise
- Assist with additional ad hoc responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or math-related field
- 2+ years of industry experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting & securities trade flow is ideal
- Strong knowledge of various financial security types, including derivatives recommended
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with a trading system (Bloomberg preferred)
- Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player and works well independently
