Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist - Peoples Bank

JOB SUMMARY
This is an entry-level position focused on the bank's treasury management function and assisting with the accounts payable process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly supports the Finance and Controls departmental initiatives
• Help document various finance department functions and develop your ability to analyze and communicate processes
• Learn and help maintain a bank's treasury management function, including forecasting cash positions and facilitating funds transfers
• Assist in analysis with the use of S&P Global Market Intelligence platform
• Assist in the preparation of presentations with the use of PowerPoint
• Engage in the analysis and scrubbing of key data points for various finance related information systems
• Learn how an accounts payable process works at a bank and help maintain the process with hands on participation
• Perform additional advanced analytics, reporting with the use of Excel
• Other duties as assigned

RELATIONSHIPS

Although this role is primarily computer facing, communication is an important component. Directly reports to the Financial Planning Analyst. Direct communication is also necessary with accountants and all of the stakeholders in fulfilling the accounts payable and wire funds transfer responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance or compensating work experience
•Skilled with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, formatting, page layout, filtering, and views
•Highly capable with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
•Well organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
•Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
•Ability to be highly accurate while working under tight deadlines
