Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst - MainStreet Family Urgent Care

We are presently looking to hire an FP&A Analyst for our Accounting/Finance team at our downtown Birmingham, Alabama Headquarters. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting and Forecasting
   1. Collaborate with departments to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for a ~40MM revenue company with 50-75 locations.
   2. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support budgetary decisions.
2. Financial Reporting
   1. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
   2. Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance.
   3. Prepare cash flow statements (direct and indirect).
3. Variance Analysis
   1. Conduct variance analysis between actual financial results and budget/forecast.
   2. Provide explanations for variances and recommend corrective actions.
4. Cost Analysis
   1. Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
   2. Provide insights into cost rivers and assist in developing cost-effective strategies.
5. Ad-Hoc Analysis
   1. Undertake special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required by senior management.
   2. Provide financial insights to support decision making on critical business issues.
6. Strategic Planning
   1. Collaborate with leadership team to contribute to long-term strategic planning.
   2. Evaluate potential business initiatives and assess their financial impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA a plus.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficient in financial modeling and budgeting software. (NetSuite experience preferred.)
• Have the highest proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
