The Financial Officer will manage the financial operations, supervise a team of three finance staff, and ensure the financial health of this revenue-generating unit.

The Financial Officer will manage the financial operations, supervise a team of three finance staff, and ensure the financial health of this revenue-generating unit.
What the role offers:
- Hybrid (2 days in-office: Monday & Tuesday; additional days during training preferred)
- 6 months Contract but with potential for extension or conversion)
- Compensation range of $50–$55/hour
- Manage financial operations, including reports, budgets, forecasts, account reviews, and salary tracking
- Oversee short program finances, revenue recognition, and policy compliance
- Approve procurement transactions and handle vendor/contractor setup
- Collaborate with leadership to monitor performance and support decisions
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance in all financial matters
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Prior experience or exposure in a higher education setting
- Leadership experience in roles like Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller
- Knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus
