Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. - 4-7 years of experience in market data analysis with a focus on fixed income securities (e.g., bonds, interest rates) and lending products (e.g., commercial loans, credit spreads). - Excel VBA experience (Visual Basic for Applications) - Deep knowledge of fixed income products, bond pricing, yield curve analysis, and credit risk - Strong understanding of lending markets (commercial lending, loan pricing, interest rate risk). - Experience working with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to create financial tools or systems that analyze both fixed income and lending products. - Proficiency with financial data platforms and market data specific to fixed income and lending products. - Excellent communication skills to present complex financial and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Financial Market Data Analyst to join one of their largest financial clients in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL. The Financial Market Data Analyst will collaborate with a Product Owner and cross-functional teams to develop a tool that generates relative value insights with a primary focus on fixed income securities and lending markets. The analyst will gather, analyze, and interpret market data, particularly for fixed income instruments and lending products, to inform the development of models and algorithms for pricing inefficiencies and yield spreads. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market in order to compare returns for different cash products, fixed income securities and lending experience, and strong quantitative and technical skills to support the development of the tool. Key Responsibilities - Partner with the Product Owner to define and refine tool requirements focusing on fixed income and lending markets. - Collect, clean, and integrate market data for both fixed income securities (e.g., bonds, interest rate products, yield curves) and lending products (e.g., commercial loans, credit spreads, interest rates on loans). - Develop models and algorithms to identify pricing inefficiencies and relative value opportunities in both fixed income securities and lending products. - Work closely with developers and technology teams to ensure the correct integration of both fixed income and lending market data into the tool. - Test and validate tool functionality, ensuring it provides reliable insights and actionable data for decision-making in both fixed income and lending markets. - Provide input on user interface design to optimize the tool for end-users in trading, research, and lending teams. - Stay up to date on market trends, interest rate movements, and regulatory developments affecting fixed income and lending markets. - Support the automation of data reporting processes for both fixed income and lending analytics, ensuring scalability and accuracy. - Monitor central bank policies, economic developments, and credit risk factors that impact lending and fixed income strategies. - Provide feedback to the Product Owner and development teams for tool enhancements based on market developments and user feedback.
