Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within our client’s organization, with a particular focus on monitoring and optimizing the company's P&L performance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company's P&L performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and margin improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial models and analyses using expert-level Excel skills to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and financial risk management.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the organization.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred.
- 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a controller managing P&L.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a proven ability to create complex financial models and perform advanced data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving profitability.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
