Financial Input Specialist - Boston, MA
We are currently seeking candidates for a Finance Specialist opportunity with a nation-leading Investment Management firm located in Boston, MA. The Finance Specialist will work closely with the Investment Management Resource Team, and will be responsible for the input of financial statements for various properties. These financial statements include year-to-date Income Statements and Balance Sheets for 2,200+ properties.
This is a 1–2+ month contract position, paying $20 - $24 /hour (depending on experience).
The Finance Specialist will work on-site for 2 weeks for training, and then will work remotely for the remainder of the opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to commit to the approximate 1–2+ month contract engagement
- 1 ½ -2 weeks of training to learn our systems and the mapping input process
- Input 2023 financial statements that include year-end financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for lower tier properties in the low-income housing tax credit industry.
- Input statements efficiently and accurately into a proprietary system in accordance to company’s mapping and verify that financial statements tie out
- Work with Financial Reporting Analysts on any items or questions that need to be brought to attention regarding the financial input
- Provide additional support as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
- Will consider candidates who have strong internship experience and are preparing to enter their senior year of college
- Knowledge (with an emphasis) on financial reporting, income statements and balance sheets.
- Ability to learn new skills and manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills
