Job Description

Investigates, resolves and monitors the bank's Anti-Fraud Program, including the bank's cash management platform, and provides critical support to customers by managing all suspected fraud from initial detection to confirmed fraud. Supports the financial crimes compliance group in analyzing and evaluating different transaction types for fraudulent characteristics, investigating and evaluating suspicious factors, and researching companies and individuals. Assists in managing initial high-risk alerts for the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) reviews, and escalates to OFAC lead as appropriate.

Essential Functions

1. Conducts daily monitoring of LIVE transactions for fraudulent characteristics and evaluates and escalates urgent requests and fraud incidents to appropriate leadership. 2. Communicates suspicious transaction concerns to customers, associations, and internal CoBank Groups. 3. Evaluates, investigates and resolves initial high-risk transaction alerts for OFAC sanctions. 4. Tracks summary reports, participates in team discussions and provides recommendations based on daily findings.. 5. Supports internal CoBank system upgrades and/or testing, including annual business continuity system testing. 6. Monitors the Fraud group email box, phone queue, voicemail, and responds as needed. 7. Provides guidance to other departments regarding Fraud questions and transactions.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree required

1 year of experience, preferably in banking or financial services, fraud or risk management. required

The typical base pay range for this role is between $50,000 - $61,250. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
