About the Opportunity
Financial Management:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead the quarterly budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Coordinate and lead external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor inquiries.
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
- Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company’s financial strategy.
- Supervise, mentor, and train the finance team to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence within the finance department.
About You
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably as a Financial Controller or similar.
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
Salary
$110,000-$130,000/year
