Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
- Financial Stewardship: Diligently manage their financial resources to support the organization's mission and drive strategic initiatives.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in strict accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Oversee all regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Financial Monitoring: Vigilantly monitor company spending, banking activities, collections, and cash flow to maintain financial stability.
- Payroll Management: Conduct biweekly payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborative Efforts: Partner with the Head of Human Resources to explore and implement cost-effective strategies.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
- Fiscal Reporting: Coordinate all fiscal reporting activities in accordance with GAAP.
Preferred Qualifications of the Financial Controller:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional Certification: CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience and overseeing full cycle accounting.
- Industry Experience: Experience in manufacturing is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
