Financial Controller Description:

A well-established and reputable cattle feeding operation is currently in need of a Financial Controller. This person will work closely with the CFO to oversee the accounting practices of two entities. 

The company provides excellent base pay, bonuses, 100% paid health insurance for individual and family, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, PTO, sick days, and other perks. 

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

• Deal with forecasting, tax planning, financial accounting, auditing, job costing, inventory control, and general ledgers
• At times will assist with office procedures such as data entry
• Will handle separate books for two separate entities
• Schedule will maily consist of M-F aside from certain exceptions to deal with EOM & EOY reporting and audits

Financial Controller Requirements:

• Strongly prefer someone with a CPA, but it is not required if they have a strong background in cattle feedlots or overall Agriculture accounting practices
• Prefer someone from Cattle feedlots or an Agriculture industry setting but not required
• Accounting degree
• Strong experience with Excel and Quickbooks
