Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the accounting operations of the company, its subsidiaries, and foreign operations, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Spearhead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Working closely with the CFO and other finance team members to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a senior finance role with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- High attention to detail and accuracy, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
