About the Job
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced financial controller, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and
financial reporting, budget, and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
2. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
3. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
4. Research technical accounting issues for compliance
5. Support month-end and year-end close process
6. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
7. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
8. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
9. Supervise a team of bookkeepers and accountants
10. Additional controller duties as necessary
11. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
12. Coordinating with our tax team for any Federal or state tax return filing.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a Financial controller
5+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
Advanced degree in Accounting
CPA or CA or CMA preferred
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, in US GAAP
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Qualification: Bachelors in Accounting/ Finance with CA, CPA or CMA
Skill Set:
• General computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Accounting tools: Should be familiar with accounting software packages, like Xero, Quick books
• Strong communication, and presentation skills
• Must be able to demonstrate multitasking capacity
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be highly organized in document management with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work
independently.
• Must be responsible, reliable, a great team player, and positive under any circumstance

100,000 - 125,000 /year
